The Globalworth Foundation has provided the authorities in Bucharest with office space from the Globalworth group for a COVID vaccination center. Situated on the ground floor of the City Offices building, with a total surface of 306 sqm, the center marks an important step in the national fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Led by the public authorities of Bucharest, the activity of the center will consist of vaccinating as many people as possible in the third phase of the national vaccination campaign. The new public vaccination center will be open all 7 days of the week, with 6 vaccination points where 35 medical professionals will be working, and will host over 360 people per day, with appointments made on the national platform https://programare.vaccinare-covid.gov.ro.
Additionally, the Globalworth Foundation remains engaged in the national fight against COVID-19 by supporting the Romanian Health Observatory Association. The €15,000 budget offered to this partner helps in creating communication campaigns for building the people’s trust regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.
“Now, more than ever, it is vital to stay focused and assume an active role in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 for the safety of our community. The implication of the Globalworth Foundation during the pandemic continues now through the vaccination program which combats the COVID-19 pandemic. Vaccination is the only possibility for resuming economic and social activity under normal conditions, and we know how badly this is needed. This is why we are making every possible effort and we hope that our City Offices building will represent an acceleration of our recovery”, said Georgiana Iliescu, Executive Director of Globalworth Foundation.
About Globalworth Foundation.
The Globalworth Foundation was established in 2018 by Globalworth, one of the leaders of the office building market in Romania and Poland, and it is a non-profit entity, independent of the group’s commercial activities. The Foundation’s mission is to develop projects on three main pillars: people, places and technology.
Starting from the idea that the future of any society is represented by the younger generations, the foundation focuses on caring for people, which can be supported through education programs and projects that can improve their access to quality medical services, regardless of the social category they are part of. Equally important are the initiatives that aim at building places and developing urban communities in which people can meet, interact, and find solutions together that help those with special needs. In addition, the Globalworth Foundation believes in the positive impact of technology-integrated projects, such as incubators for young people, and supports the financing of innovations that bring people together.
